I've recently realized how many roaches have been living in my kitchen. I have no chemicals or poisons to deal with them. I've argued with my roommate to get some, but he's adamant to stop me, something about not adding toxics to counters or whatever. Meh....
I figured out an alternative. You can tape down to the counter strips of Strong Duck tape, sticky side up, with cruel yet pleasing results.
I decided to keep the theme going.

One down... a hundred to go? :P I'd say just cleaning often would get rid of any roach problems, but I guess that depends on the building. Good tip though. If you ever have trouble with ants, you could put out a plate of honey, they're crazy for that... and it sticks.
